In a historic market town in Northumberland, Richard James embarked on a transformative project, breathing new life into a charming old property.
Measured, crafted, and installed to ensure a seamless fit, these casement windows became a seamless blend of form and function.
The heart of this project lay in the meticulous replication of the property’s original casement windows. Each window was crafted to ensure that every intricate detail, from design to proportions, mirrored the heritage and architectural character of the property.
Expertly installed by the Richard James team, the casement windows ensure a snug fit, maximising energy efficiency and visual appeal. This cottage now boasts a harmonious blend of classical elegance and modern comfort.
Our client sought windows that would pay homage to the traditional architectural elements of their property while providing the advanced performance required for contemporary living. Our challenge was to deliver a seamless transition between two distinct window types while ensuring they harmoniously complemented the property’s design.
Located in a small Northumberland village, this stone-built farm house has recently undergone a full refurbishment. The project required us to manufacture and fit a variety of windows throughout the property including two arch top windows, a large casement window and dormer casement windows.
