Casement Dormer Window

Located in a small Northumberland village, this stone-built farm house has recently undergone a full refurbishment. The project required us to manufacture and fit a variety of windows throughout the property including two arch top windows, a large casement window and dormer casement windows.

The ground floor bedroom of the property is a canvas of tranquillity, boasting a dormer casement window that frames captivating views down the Tyne Valley. An en suite casement frosted window complements this serenity while inviting soft light into the room. Using a dual colour scheme, the internal faces of the dormer window and casement window are colour matched with Dulux’s Urban Obsession, and beautifully counterbalanced externally with colour match to Farrow & Ball No.16 Cord.

In addition to the windows, we also crafted two pairs of made to measure shutters for the original windows of two first floor bedrooms. The material chosen for the shutters was Accoya® and Tricoya. Tricoya is the sheet version of Accoya®, providing a lightweight and stable material, perfect for use in an area with possible condensation and magnified sunlight.
