The team at Richard James was entrusted with the task of replacing a deteriorating front door with an elegant Accoya® timber door. The contemporary design was enhanced with a glazed sidelight, and the chosen colour harmoniously complemented the stone used for the house.
In a beautiful residential setting, a dated 1990s UPVC door stood as a stark contrast to the charm of the house. Richard James Joinery was tasked with replacing this uninspiring entrance with a stunning modern door that not only complemented the house’s aesthetics but also added a touch of class.
The French doors to this pottery studio needed to serve a dual purpose: flood the creative space with natural light and provide a practical means for moving large pottery items in and out of the studio.
The completion of this project resulted in a modern and functional boot room. The contemporary French doors served as a gateway to the outdoors, inviting natural light into the space and creating an atmosphere that was both practical and inviting.
The goal of this project was to address the issue of extreme temperature fluctuations within the room while providing breathtaking views and a seamless connection to the outdoors. Our team designed French doors that would blend seamlessly with the original aesthetics of the gable end while addressing the temperature control issues.
This charming old school house located atop of the valley between Northumberland and County Durham, now has two beautiful doors, each door was carefully crafted using Accoya® timber that will stand up to the harsh weather conditions of the Northumbrian landscape.
