Contemporary Door With Frame Glazed Sidelight
In a picturesque setting, the entrance door to this property had suffered the ravages of time. The rotten front door not only compromised the security of the home but also marred its visual appeal. The team at Richard James was entrusted with the task of replacing a deteriorating front door with an elegant Accoya® timber door.
The challenge was to restore the functionality and aesthetic grandeur of the property’s entrance while ensuring that the new door aligned with the charm of the stone-built house. The door was designed with a contemporary aesthetic, incorporating clean lines and a minimalist approach that balanced modernity with the property’s character. To maximise natural light in the entryway and create a welcoming atmosphere, a glazed sidelight was added, offering a glimpse of the interior and enhancing the door’s visual appeal.
