Being involved in this industrial makeover was a great project to be a part of. A once old and tired car repair garage, has now been fully transformed into a light, warm and modern studio gallery.

As part of the refurbishment a new roof has been installed and a matching cladding has been fixed to two of the external walls, this is where we came in. Our job was to manufacture and fit all new windows and doors throughout the building and colour match the external sides to the newly fitted roof and cladding, which is the colour “Kingspan Grey”. To gain the maximum brightness inside the studio area, a white colour scheme was chosen throughout, which included our doors to be dual colours to match both externally and internally.

The original front and rear single skin roller doors had long seen better days and required modern replacements. Standing at 3.0m tall and 3.4m wide, these door sets really tested the workshop, as all four were to be manufactured at once. Our new versions included an internal insulation panel, duels colours and custom made hinges to be able to withstand the 165kg weight of each door!

Custom-made hinges were engineered to withstand the substantial weight of 165 kilograms for each door, underscoring our commitment to craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetic harmony.
