At Richard James we revel in the opportunity to undertake projects that challenge convention and celebrate craftsmanship. In this project, we were tasked with the creation and installation of a truly distinctive door: a Gothic Frame Ledge Door that would serve as a stunning focal point for the entranceway to this property.

Drawing inspiration from the elegance and drama of Gothic architecture, our team crafted a door that featured intricate arches and curves. This unique shape not only added character to the space but also required precise measurements and attention to detail to ensure a flawless fit within the architectural framework.

The deep, rich tones of Farrow & Ball’s Downpipe perfectly complemented the Gothic design, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding elements.To complete the door’s look and functionality, we chose Coastal Blue 316 Stainless Steel hardware finished in black. The black finish harmonised seamlessly with the colour of the door, creating a unified and refined aesthetic.
