Edwardian Sash Bay Window

Crafting a bridge between past and present, the windows to this Edwardian property had to meet stringent conservation regulations as well as ensure they were sympathetic to the architectural heritage of the era.

The project’s first phase was to install five new sash windows, including three bedroom windows, a bathroom with obscured glass and, front and centre, a stunning bay window. The owners of this family home wanted windows that were sensitive to architectural heritage of the property as well as employing modern sensibilities of durability and efficiency.

A dual colour palette was employed to marry the decor within the property as well as complement the external sandstone facade. This thoughtful touch ensured a harmonious blend of aesthetics, both within and outside the confines of this Edwardian gem.
