At Richard James we believe that every item that leaves the workshop has to be of the same high standard of material and finish no matter what it may be.

Based within walking distance of Hexham town centre our door is always open for visitors to call in, have a chat and see what project is underway.

We cover all areas of the UK. We have previously completed projects in Newcastle upon Tyne, County Durham, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Cheshire, Scotland and London.

We are always available, either in person, on the phone, or via email to help and advise you before and after manufacturing your windows, doors or custom project.

As we always try to be one step ahead, we choose to use only the best quality timber, glass, hardware and finish coatings.

SUSTAINABLE TIMBER

Our timber supplier ensures that the timber we use is FSC certified from sustainable and correctly managed forests.

FITTING SERVICE

We offer a full fitting service on all of our products which will be carried out to a clean and high standard.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Our door is always open for new and old customers to call in and chat, ask advice or see what projects we are working on.

I am very happy with the final product regarding window installation at the Church Street site.

The workmanship is of a very high quality, paint finish is very good, and the glazing bars have been manufactured, cut and installed impeccably, communication was very good between myself, Jimmy, Dan and Adam, their client handling was also very good. Good team of lads!!

We had other joinery/window suppliers in to quote for the replacement windows but didn’t find any of them matched the quality of your windows, in particular the attention to detail.
